For hundreds of years, Rashi's commentaries on both the Bible and the Talmud have been printed in was is usually called Ketav Rashi, or "Rashi Script." This script is actually a type of Sephardic cursive script. Once you've mastered the square script (Ketav Ashri), Rashi script is a handy thing to learn, especially if you plan to do research on Torah and learn from the Torah sages. |
